Flamengo is one of the most traditional and beloved neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro, known for its beauty, history and quality of life. A LITTLE HISTORY:

The origin of the name "Flamengo" is linked to the attempted Dutch invasion in the 16th century. The Dutch, who came from Flanders, were called Flemings. Over the years, Flamengo became an upscale neighborhood, with large mansions and imposing buildings. The Aterro do Flamengo, an engineering project that transformed the city's landscape, contributed to the development of the neighborhood.

What makes Flamengo a special place:

FLAMENGO PARK: The second largest park in the world, second only to Central Park in New York, Flamengo Park offers residents and visitors a variety of leisure options, such as bike paths, jogging trails, picnic areas and historical monuments.

EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES

The apartment is divided into 1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom, view of the grounds, is on the 12th floor.

Lock with key, queen bed, bed linen and bath, air conditioning, TV, fan, blackout curtain, iron, hairdryer, wardrobe, hangers, sofa bed, full kitchen, sanitary shower, gas hot water.

There is private parking near your accommodation.

We lend 1 portable cot and also for your car and bedding for your baby, plus beach chairs, request 1 day before or withdraw in our store.

Every 7 days we exchange bed linen and bath, request 1 day before.

In the neighborhood you are close to great restaurants, beautiful views, opposite the beach and with transport options and shops. Residential building, safe and cozy; ideal for families and group of friends who come to relax and enjoy a little!

CHECKIN AND CHECKOUT

Check-in is done remotely, with a password or key, according to local availability, from 2PM up to 5PM.

If you need any different, please, tell us as soon as possible. If there´s no guest before, we will be pleased to help!

On the day of your arrival, at 1PM, we will send the password. It is important that you have Wi-Fi to receive it.

Guests need to be identified, for everyone's safety, so, when there are 2 days prior to your arrival, we will reinforce the need of documents photos. Don't worry, your data will be protected under the GDPR.

Check-out is self-made, you just shut down equipments and close the door. Our maid will arrive by 12PM to clean it up for the next family.

If you need late checkout, please, tell us as soon as possible. If there´s no guest, we will be pleased to help!

The neighborhood is 24/7 and very charming!

Flamengo is a neighborhood that is open 24/7 and is very charming! In this neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro housed the headquarters of the Republic, today Museum of the Republic, in the Palace of Catete! Sooo worth visiting!

You will stay a few meters away from good transport and accessible to the most popular neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro, in addition to all the local shops you need: pharmacies, markets, shops, street markets, not to mention the main transport in the city: taxi, uber , bus and subway. From the airports it is about 20 minutes from the SDU and 50 minutes from the GIG.

Nearby there are restaurants from cheap to charming, as well as markets, pharmacies, shops and all you might need in an ordinary neighborhood, practically 24 hours a day.

Tips:

At the beach everything is more expensive tha inside the neighborhood.

If you pay in cash (BRL, not USD or EUR), always ask for discount.

All museums are FREE at Tuesdays

Daily you have subway, buses and taxis to get in and out of the city and airports.

Avoid cars, the city is very traffic jammed and expensive to park.

We can pick or drop you up at the airports, port or bus station. We use regular sedan cars and registered drivers.
